Maybe not LMP3, because it looks far too slow, so how about an upgrade to Oreca 03s? Or maybe LMP3, but they’ll be upgraded ever so slightly?

1986 Toyota Camrys with three matching bald tires and a donut, and rusty holes in the muffler.

I dunno but those headlights on the Ginetta are Seat Leon units turned through 90 degrees.

LMP3s in person are pretty good. They are a decent step down from P2, and once they are all up to speed should be pretty well ahead of the GTs.

Personally I would think LMP3s would make a great replacement for the PCs, and that class needs to remain because its a good way to get gentlemen racers in at a slightly lower cost tier, still bringing in more $$.

Plus if they are LMP3 spec, you’d get more guest entries at the bigger races like Daytona, Sebring, PLM etc from the ELMS, AsLMS and then even like the French National GT championship which is taking them on. Whereas if its a bespoke class you are limiting yourself to solely WTSC entries for the whole year.

I knew the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Well, time to call IMSA.

Just don’t call them PC’s anymore.
